Buck (Step-Down) Voltage Regulators

Components Direct offers a variety of buck (step-down) voltage regulators from Maxim and Micrel. These devices have a supply voltage ranging from 2V to 30V, and the output voltage ranging up to 37V. The range of switching frequency is from 42kHz to 600kHz. Additional features include adjustable output with resistors, low-battery detection comparator and current-limiting PFM control scheme. These quality buck (step-down) voltage regulators are designed for high-efficiency linear regulator replacement, portable instruments and handy-terminals, DC-DC converters, portable instruments, uninterruptible on-board power supplies, and other applications.
