Components Direct offers a variety of battery chargers from Maxim and Micrel. These battery charges have a supply voltage range of 2.5V and 28V, and charge current max ranging from 0.1A to 8.0A. The cell chemistry includes Lead Acid, Li-lon, Li-polymer, NiCd, NiMH and universal. Additional features include charge-current monitor for fuel gauging, input power-source detection output, soft-start limits inrush current, programmable fast-charge current, thermal shutdown and current limit protection and pulse charging capability.
